This week’s learning.

It’s lovely to look back and see what the children have been learning and how they have been learning. Some children love to dress up and become involved in imaginative play. This was evident outside when they dressed up and went ‘trick or treating’ using a cauldron to collect their treats! The tinker table is still a huge hit and they love uses the tools to try and take apart the items on the tray. Anymore would be appreciated! Physical development is demonstrated when they are cutting out pictures from our story and sticking them back in the right order. They also use lovely language when they are acting out the story of The Billy Goat’s in their play. We also used instruments to represent different characters from the story and children had to play their instrument at the correct time which was tricky! We practised throwing and catching in Suretots and were so excited when we succeeded! There has been lots of mark making this week and the children also give meanings to the marks they make. They have had a really busy week and next week will be the same!
